It's been awhile, my friends...

And I have some news to share!

First of all, my second picture book, Same Love, Different Hug, came out in June. Woohoo! I feel like I missed some of the excitement as I've been sick with a bad Crohn's flare up pretty much this whole year. I guess it's fitting since that book was partially inspired by my health struggles. But I'm starting to feel better and I'm so glad to see how others, especially kids, are connecting with the message in that book.

Secondly, for fellow writers, it's Fall Writing Frenzy time! The amazing Kaitlyn Leann Sanchez is once again hosting this fun writing contest and I'm a prize donor this year. Check out the contest here and the prizes here. Good luck everyone!
